I’m Emily! My great loves are singing, leading worship, writing, and sharing songs full of truth to encourage your heart, equip your mind, and help you see Jesus.
Since 2010, I’ve been writing and recording word-saturated music with my husband Jonathan. Since the day we were engaged, we have traveled all over the country with our growing family sharing our songs and leading worship for different churches and events. You can check out our music here!
This year, I’m excited to share some new songs with you that I hope will help you to abide in Christ and live from not for His love. I released my first single “Abide (Where The Joy Is) this Spring and I’m excited for two more upcoming releases over the summer months, so stay tuned!
I’m a “work-from-homeschool” musical mommy of 3 (baby 4 on the way), I desire above all things to know Jesus and make Him known in every corner of my life. I’m hardly ever without a cup of coffee and love any excuse to make or share a cup with a friend.

WORSHIP LEADING
There is almost nothing better to me than hearing God’s people sing.
I’m passionate about leading Christ-exalting worship that is laced with God’s Word and engages believers of all generations to praise Jesus in spirit and truth.
Over the years, I’ve been honored to lead worship and share my songs for Sunday morning worship services, concerts, weekend retreats, women’s conferences, and family worship events, as well as for ministries and associations such as LifeWay, Centrikid Camps, Answers in Genesis, TN Baptist Church Music Conference, TN Baptist WMU, Illinois Baptist State Association, KY Baptist Women’s Ministry, Disciple Leaders Network, and the NRB International Christian Media Convention.
For the last 15 years, I’ve been writing and recording word-saturated music with my husband Jonathan as a part of our music ministry “The Word in Worship”. Every step of how God has led us to share His Word through song has been nothing short of an adventure. From our engagement to the quickly approaching birth of our fourth child, we have endless stories of His faithfulness to move in hearts as His words are sung and received in faith. Together, we have released 6 studio albums and traveled the country, sharing our songs and leading worship for churches of all sizes, camps, and ministry events.

Along with writing songs for my own artistry, I’m passionate about passing along God’s Word to the next generation and I believe songs are one of the most powerful tools we have to do it! I’m privileged to get to write scripture songs for amazing ministries like LifeWay Kids and Answers in Genesis.
